Opskill designs and builds AI workflow systems for founders, consultants, and small teams who are spending too much of their time on things a machine could do instead.
We've been working with AI tools since the early Claude and GPT-4 days, not because it was trendy, but because we could see what was actually possible when you went beyond the surface-level demos.
A few things worth knowing
What we believe
Most people aren't short on ideas. They're short on capacity. The right automation doesn't just save time; it creates the space for better thinking.
We believe in building systems that match how people actually work, not systems that make you reorganise yourself around the tool. A workflow should get out of the way.
And we believe in honesty over salesmanship. If we can't help you, we'll say so. If a cheaper tool would do the job, we'll tell you that too.
How we work
Every project starts with a conversation about what you're actually doing today, not what you'd like to be doing. We map the current process before suggesting any changes.
We design and build in short cycles. You'll see something working within days, not weeks. Feedback at that stage is far more useful than feedback on a deck.
Handover is part of the job. You'll finish every project knowing how to maintain and adapt the system yourself, with no ongoing dependency on us.
What we won't do
We won't promise outcomes we can't guarantee. AI tools are powerful but they're not magic, and you deserve an honest picture of what automation can and can't do for you.
We won't build something complicated when something simple would work. Complexity is easy to sell. Simplicity takes more thought.
We won't take on more than we can deliver properly. If our schedule is full, we'll tell you, and give you a realistic timeline rather than overpromising.
What we've built
Our background is in systems thinking and process design. We came to AI tools through practical necessity: building workflows for research-heavy projects where manual processes were the bottleneck.
Since then we've delivered automation projects for consultancies, solo founders, creative agencies, and research teams. The problems are different. The underlying pattern is usually the same: someone doing by hand what a well-designed system could do for them.
We work primarily with Claude AI, Make.com, Zapier, n8n, and Obsidian. These are tools we've used extensively and know well. We won't recommend a tool we haven't built with ourselves.
